After two years on the front lines of the pandemic, these employees – the everyday heroes who collect our lifesaving blood supply – are mobilizing for a fair contract that addresses chronic understaffing and unsafe working conditions.

Instead of rewarding them for their tireless service — often without basic PPE and safety procedures in place — Red Cross, whose CEO makes more than $700,000 per year, wants to roll back basic health protections for these everyday heroes. That is unacceptable, and the Red Cross needs to know it.
