I’ve officially signed Constitutional Carry into law... a HUGE WIN for law-abiding Georgians!
I’ve always been a big supporter of the Second Amendment and your gun rights. When I first ran for our state’s top office, I promised to get this important measure across the finish line if elected, to empower Georgians to protect themselves and their families. And we did it!
As I’ve said before, the U.S. Constitution grants our citizens the right to carry a firearm. This is a fundamental right that should not be limited by state government approval.
I’m proud to have kept my promise to GET THE JOB DONE.

Getting Constitutional Carry on the books here in Georgia could not come at a better time. Today, with crime on the rise, it’s time to level the playing field. Criminals certainly don’t obtain a permit to carry, and law-abiding citizens should not be forced to.
Your carry permit is the Second Amendment!
