john,
The chair of the Republican’s Senate campaign arm is out defending their dangerous platform to “save America,” which includes raising taxes on millions of Americans, including seniors.
But one of the most unsettling proposals of their plan if they take back the Senate is to “sunset” all federal legislation after 5 years because Congress should be able to pass it again.
Unless, that is, Republicans stand in the way using the Senate filibuster, which they undoubtedly will.
And when they say all legislation, they mean it. If the GOP gets their way, programs like Social Security, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act, and more would end every 5 years unless Congress passes it again.
While deeply unpopular proposals like this may seem detached from reality, it’s the Republicans’ plan and what many GOP Senate hopefuls are campaigning on — and why Tina is working so hard to protect our fragile majority come November.
We can’t win the fight this year without you, john. Can we count on your support right now to help protect our Senate majority and keep Tina fighting for the issues that matter? [[link removed]]

From lowering costs for families to expanding broadband access to rural communities, Tina is fighting every day for all of Minnesota, and she doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. We’ve got so much more that we need to accomplish, but that’s only possible with a Senate majority, because we know where Republicans' priorities lie.
Thank you, john, for making sure we can keep building on our progress.
Team Tina
