We welcomed Democrats from across the country to Atlanta this week for the fifth Democratic presidential primary debate! A few of them stuck around afterward, and I was excited to see Bernie Sanders at a rally yesterday afternoon.

John, I’m excited to announce my endorsement of Bernie Sanders, the original progressive, for president of the United States.

We’ll both be fighting hard to flip Georgia blue in 2020. Can you rush a split contribution between both of our campaigns to support our efforts?

Bernie built something incredible in 2016 with the support of a grassroots movement – not millionaires and billionaires. He showed me that something similar could be built in Georgia, without catering to special interests and the 1% that have been a hallmark of our politics for too long.
