I am coming to you this morning with a humble request:

I know we ask a lot. But there’s a reason for it. You see: hitting these goals in the middle of the month is extremely important. It informs how the rest of our month is going to go and the spending decisions we can or can’t make.

So far, nearly 1 million people have contributed to either my first campaign or my re-election.

But now that we’re in an election year and attack ads are already running, I need YOUR support more than ever.

My team tells me we are aiming for a goal of 15,000 donations by Friday to keep up the pace this month. I told them I’d send this email to help out, because I know this grassroots team can come through when it matters the most. So, I have to humbly ask:
