We've got an impressive lineup of activists, comedians, and chefs for the annual gala.

Dear John,

We are thrilled to announce our honoree for this year's American Heritage Awards: Global gay rights activist and founder of Refuge America, Edafe Okporo.

A refugee from Nigeria, Edafe is a critical voice on the issue of displacement. His activism works to strengthen America as a place of welcome for LGBTQ people.
