We are now one step closer to the primary and beating the Democrats

Hello Colorado Republicans,

Thanks to all of you who took your time to help select candidates on Friday and Saturday! Our State Convention was full of energy. If we can carry this energy in a united way into November, we will beat the Democrats who still hide out in their basements. In fact, the Democrats had a 100% virtual convention instead of getting together in person.

Here are the candidates who qualified for the primary ballot through assembly, in the order they will appear on your ballot. I will place candidates who qualified through petition in parentheses at the end of each race.

GOVERNOR
Greg Lopez
Heidi Ganahl

U.S. SENATE
Ron Hanks
(Joe O'Dea)

TREASURER
Lang Sias

SECRETARY OF STATE
Tina Peters
Mike O'Donnell
(Pam Anderson)

STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION - AT LARGE
Dan Maloit

ATTORNEY GENERAL
John Kellner

A couple notes:

In three statewide races, we have NO PRIMARY. This means that Lang Sias (Treasurer), Dan Maloit (State Board of Education), and John Keller (Attorney General) can all focus on their Democrat opponents immediately. All three have served our nation in the military and are excellent representatives of our Party's conservative values.

There did initially appear to be a second-place candidate on the Attorney General ballot. However, he has been disqualified. He was not a registered Republican at the time of the race, which is a requirement -- instead, he was registered as an Unaffiliated. He is also not admitted to the State Bar of Colorado. All votes cast for him must be disqualified, so those delegates' votes were stolen with false information.

Most candidates who did not make the ballot on Saturday have accepted the results with grace, and I commend them. I'm grateful for the spirit and energy each one brought to our Party. For anyone trying to blame their loss on someone else or on "fraud," I'd suggest that introspection is a better tool in the long run. Misleading statements are being circulated about counties not being allowed to vote, counties not being heard, etc., but these are all false. We have also sent out instructions to delegates for how they can verify their votes.

75% of the delegates in attendance voted to use the secure keypads, and there is widespread confidence in our selection of candidates for the primary ballot.

Thanks for being in the fight and helping our candidates achieve victory.

Never surrender!
KBB
