John,

A few weeks back, I had the privilege of participating in a panel hosted by Black Women Run DC — a panel highlighting five Black women running to make transformational progressive change.

And let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible to sit with other progressive Black women (including Cori Bush and Nina Turner!) and discuss our plans to make history, transform our country, and fight for those who’ve been left behind by a corrupt system.

This year, more Black women are running for office than ever before. And this event showcased just how driven, qualified, and determined Black women are to undo the damage of the past and carve out a new future for our communities.

But here’s the problem: Black women receive the least campaign donations of any group running for office. And, like it or not, it’s hard to win victories for our communities when the establishment and their corporate donors are standing against you.

We need to uplift Black voices, elect Black women, and deliver on the kind of representation, action, and progress that can only be achieved by Black women in office. And we need your help to do it. Click here to chip in $27, support my campaign, and help elect the FIRST Black woman to represent NJ-10.
