We have a once in a generation opportunity to shape our future, and we must take advantage of it before June 6th, when the legislative session ends.
Shaping the future always begins with education. The budget I have proposed includes investments at every level. Here's a brief summary:
* $148.4 million - teacher and support staff pay raises
* $97.2 million - higher education
* $43.4 million - early childhood education
* $31.7 million - higher education faculty pay raises
* $10.5 million - MJ Foster Promise Program fund
Will you chip in $25 to help me secure this vital funding before June 6th? ([link removed])
I believe these commonsense investments are the least we can do for the people who never gave up on our students despite unprecedented circumstances.
