Let me break down the latest Washington Senate poll numbers for you.

42% disapprove of Democrat Patty Murray
41% said they would vote for Republican Tiffany Smiley
9% of voters are undecided

A Republican hasn’t won a senate race in Washington State since 1994. But the numbers show we have a chance to change that.

Tiffany Smiley’s story is about courage, strength, and patriotism. Her husband, Scotty, lost sight in both eyes when he was hit by a suicide bomb while serving in Iraq. She fought alongside her husband when federal bureaucrats told her that he could never serve in the Army again. She and her husband were determined not only to prove them wrong, but to make sure that Scotty didn’t become another statistic in the unreliable VA.

Their determination paid off. Not only did her husband defy the odds and become the first blind active-duty Army officer, they are still fighting every day to make sure every veteran gets the care they deserve. Bottom line: Tiffany took on the federal government and won.

If any Republican can defy the odds and defeat a 30-year Democrat incumbent in Washington, it’s Tiffany Smiley. That’s why I’m proud to endorse Tiffany Smiley today, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting her right away.
