It’s Ceres Earth Month! We’re taking every opportunity we can to learn about our history, share our accomplishments, and raise the bar for the work ahead.
As Development Director, I have the privilege of hearing straight from supporters and fielding your questions about the mission we share.
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Amit Bando, Ceres Chief Economist and Senior Advisor for Just and Inclusive Economics, and asked him just a few of your top questions.

Amit and I spoke about the challenges and rewards of our mission, and his advice for future generations on how to build a just and sustainable world.
He looked back at the history of the climate crisis, the way forward, and at every turn, he was quick to remind us of the power from collective action of our community.
Amit brought his trademark optimism to the conversation by offering his perspective on how we can avert the worst effects of climate change and preserve the Earth’s finite resources. Amit firmly believes a just and inclusive economy is within our reach:
