How do young people go from caring about an issue, to organizing a campaign and winning a serious victory? Well, one way is through intensive training from Advocates for Youth! If you or someone you know is ages 14-24, and wants to join our cohort of youth organizers, now is the time.
We're thrilled to announce that applications are now open to join our youth organizing programs for the 2022-2023 school year here!
Accepted applicants will be part of a group of 150 youth activists aged 14-24 from around the country who receive training, support, and $600 stipends to organize for reproductive justice in their community! Youth organizers will also be flown to Washington, D.C. to receive in-depth training at our Youth Activist Institute in September, a life-changing experience where they will network with fellow youth activists and build essential organizing skills.

We now have ten core programs you can choose from. Plus, you will have the resources of Advocates for Youth behind your local activism all year long!
If any of the following campaigns sound exciting to you,
- End shame and stigma around abortion, and expand access to abortion on campuses and in your local community
- Bring birth control pills over-the-counter, without an age restriction
- Support survivors of sexual assault to lead the fight to end gender-based violence in their schools
- Provide safe and supportive environments for LGBTQ people of color
- Combat racism, anti-Muslim hate, homophobia and transphobia
- Increase HIV testing and condom availability
- Fight for comprehensive sex ed in your state and school district, and mobilize your peers around international family planning issues
