Hello,
Health care is a human right.
But right now, across Vermont and the country, people without insurance can’t afford to pay their deductibles. People with diabetes can’t afford their insulin. People can’t afford to take care of their families, all because of our broken health care system.
It’s the most inefficient system in the world, and we all suffer as a result.
Medicare for All would mean a simplified health care system. It would mean lower costs, and fewer barriers to receiving necessary care. Preventive health care would be much easier to get, which means more Vermonters and Americans would get to live longer, happier, healthier lives.
Peter is a founding member of the Medicare for All Caucus in the House, and is ready to fight on Day One to get this done.
But he can’t do this alone—not without a grassroots movement fighting by his side.
