I didn’t know how missing a debate would affect my campaign. 
 
Fundraising could have plummeted. 
Support could have waned. 
I could have been forgotten. 
 
 
Defying expectations, supporters came out from all over the country. We were trending on Twitter, contributions went through the roof (more than either of the last two debates), and folks have rallied to help us meet the requirements for the December debate.
