Gov. Brian Kemp just signed a bill that would make it easier for criminals to carry a hidden, loaded gun in public – regardless of whether or not they should be allowed to carry a gun around other people.

There are already loopholes that allow people in Georgia to avoid background checks and permits – and without a permit, there’s no guarantee that someone carrying a firearm has had a background check.
