Welcome to The Agenda (yeah - THAT agenda), your weekly update on what's happening in the LGBTQ political world. Whatever you do, don’t forward it to Mike Pence. He doesn't need to know what we're planning! Forward it to a friend instead.

Overview: Two more runoffs, Election Days in Boston and Texas, and more!
ELECTION NIGHT: RESULTS PENDING
We’re still tracking six pending races from Election Night 2019 – and now we’re adding two more!
Kurtis Purtee is running to be Savannah’s first openly LGBTQ City Councilmember – but he’ll need to defeat a candidate described as “Mini-Trump.”
Another new endorsement: Evangeline Beechler for Caldwell City Council! Beechler’s confident that she can win her runoff and become just the third openly LGBTQ elected official in Idaho. Hear from Beechler herself!
But we can check another race off the list: David Richardson won his race to be a Miami Beach Commissioner!
Boston set a date for Alejandra St. Guillen’s recount: December 7-8. Around 66,000 ballots will be counted by hand over the course of the weekend.
Spotlight candidate Eliz Markowitz is now running in what’s called the hottest race in Texas. Voters will head to the polls on January 28, and former Presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke has jumped in to lend a hand.
GAME CHANGERS
John Blair earned an endorsement from State Senator Jacob Candelaria in his race to become the first LGBTQ Congressmember from New Mexico! Candelaria cited Blair’s commitment to solving the climate crisis as one reason for his endorsement.
Gina Ortiz Jones continues to grab key endorsements in her Congressional race for TX-23: this time from NewPolitics, a group dedicated to supporting leaders who show a clear dedication to public service.
“We don’t need more millionaires in Congress. We need more people of color, more young people, more queer people”. Watch Mondaire Jones’ new ad on his commitment to New York's 17th Congressional district:

FEEL THE PETE WAVE
Pete Buttigieg is surging in New Hampshire and Iowa. Wondering how his rise came to be? GQ has your answer in a new profile.
Coming shortly after the news that older LGBTQ people are celebrating his historic run, Time Magazine also named Pete one of their TIME 100 Leaders.
Fresh from the debate stage – where he received rave reviews – Pete joined with Fair Fight Action to text Georgia voters about renewing their registrations.

MOMENT OF ZEN
When you run for public office, you have to join a lot of parades. Todd Gloria, running for Mayor of San Diego, is no exception. Luckily, people were excited to see him!
