Recently, our EIGHTH opponent jumped into this race. Here are three things you need to know about the state of this race:
- Our opponents will have the support of establishment and status quo groups ready to spend millions to defeat our people-powered movement. That includes groups like DMFI, a dark money group that spends millions of dollars in races across the country to defeat progressive candidates.
- One candidate who entered the race a couple of weeks ago played a direct role in drawing MO-1's new map — and has been accused of pushing for a map that would favor him and disadvantage Cori. It's a blatant attempt to suppress our votes in future elections.
- Challengers are already attacking our work to imagine transformative visionary policies that can reshape our communities. Instead of debating the issues, our challengers are trying to smear Cori with dog whistles and insults.
It's crystal clear: We need to keep Cori in Congress and defeat all eight of our opponents. Our primary election is under four months away, so we're counting on this grassroots team to step up.
