Hi team,
I just want to make sure you saw this exciting announcement of our next round of grantees. Each of these organizations are fighting tooth and nail to bring progress to our partner states. I am overjoyed and humbled that Groundwork Project gets to support their incredible work through our grant program.
Now remember, our grants are unique because they are:
- Multi-year: Unlike the boom and bust cycle of election-specific organizing, Groundwork Project is committed to organizers year-round, multiple years in a row. We are building lasting, durable infrastructure by partnering with our grantees long term.
- Unrestricted: Many grants come with a long list of stipulations on how the funds must be spent. Groundwork Project will not micromanage how our partners use their funds. We know that our grantees will know better than us where the dollars can make the biggest impact!
- Hyperlocal: The organizations we have selected for our next round of grantees are trusted changemakers in their local communities. Each of these organizations are grassroots focused and led.
When you donate to Groundwork Project you are investing in grassroots organizers making real change in places that are often under-resourced and left behind. Thank you for your partnership as we shake up the political landscape of the Deep South and Appalachia. More below!
Thank you,
Joe

Friend,
As you know, Groundwork’s mission is to support community organizers, advocates, and activists across the country working year-round in places traditionally under-resourced, excluded, and ignored. We invest in hyperlocal efforts that build sustainable political infrastructure, engage and educate voters, and build power for the underrepresented and disenfranchised.
Our grant program puts this mission into action. (To support this work, donate here!)
And now, after much hard work and thanks to your generous support, Groundwork Project is elated to introduce you to our next round of grantees. We know that you’ll love them as much as we do!
