April is Earth Month, but let’s be real - with climate chaos on our doorstep, we have to fight to save our planet every day of the year. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report has placed this crisis in dire terms - we have a limited amount of time left to decarbonize our economy and fully transition away from fossil fuels to avoid the worst consequences of climate change. We need a Green New Deal (GND) now.

As the next representative for CA-32, I'll advocate tirelessly to pass the GND for Public Schools and the GND for Public Housing, the Fossil Free Finance Act, the BUILD Green Infrastructure and Jobs Act, and the GND for Cities, States, and Tribes, among many other climate bills. These bills would collectively achieve the goals of divesting from the fossil fuel industry, investing in climate resilience and mitigation, and creating millions of union-backed living wage jobs in the renewable energy sector to strengthen our economy.
