John,

Women’s History Month may be over, but our work to uplift and empower
Black women and families across the country marches on — including our
campaigns to:

* Demand media outlets adopt COC’s #ProtectBlackSurvivors Media Style
Guide to stop harmful reporting on gender-based violence that prevents
Black survivors from coming forward
* Get tech companies to protect us from abortion bounty-hunting and
harassment efforts enabled by Texas Senate Bill 8
* Call on Congress to make the Child Tax Credit and other direct cash
relief payments permanent
* Ensure that medically vulnerable women be released from federal
prisons
* Pressure the President Biden Administration to eliminate student debt
* And so much more to create a world where the lives and stories of
Black women and girls don’t just matter, but are centered.

I’m deeply grateful to be in community with not only the incredible Black
women leading so much of our work here at COC and within our local squads,
but also with committed members like you.

It will take all of us joining together to deliver the structural change
we deserve. If you haven’t had a chance yet, it’s not too late to support
the sisters of COC and our ongoing work — [ [link removed] ]will you make a donation to
fuel COC’s campaigns to win justice for Black women and us all?

Whether you’re able to contribute financially today or not, you’re part of
a powerful movement that is millions strong.

So keep it up. We need to keep raising our voices. We need to keep
inviting allies to do the work with us. We need to grow our efforts to
change the written and unwritten rules of our society. I know that we can
get it done.

Until Justice Is Real,
