Kathy Hochul's handpicked Lieutenant Governor Brian Benjamin has just been arrested on corruption charges.
Picking Benjamin to serve as her partner in government and running mate was Hochul's first major decision as governor--and she knowingly chose a dirty politician.
It's not surprising given she dutifully served as corrupt Andrew Cuomo's partner for seven years. Brian Benjamin’s shady dealings and corruption were well-documented, but Hochul turned a blind eye and put him a heartbeat away from the governorship.
Just days ago, she said she had "full confidence in him" despite the fact that he was under investigation. Corruption and incompetence run deep in Kathy Hochul's veins.
