The Wisconsin Conservation Congress was established in 1934. The purpose was to provide citizens with a local avenue for input and exchange concerning conservation issues.

The Conservation Congress serves in an advisory capacity to the Natural Resources Board.

Each spring, they hold hearings (through a survey) to enable citizens to provide input on Wisconsin’s natural resource issues.

You do not need to be a Wisconsin resident to participate in the survey nor do you need to answer all questions which range from a variety of topics including wolves, fishing, trapping, hunting.and even ammunition.

You will be asked to provide your name and address and county of resident (if Wisconsin). If not a Wisconsin resident, scroll through the Wisconsin counties to the bottom for "Out of State". The responses to the questions are either Yes, No, No opinion. Some allow for a very short comment.
