Here is a great opportunity to help move towards zero waste at the personal and county level. in Fairfax County.

The county is going to have drop off of organic waste at 5 of the farmers markets. 350Fairfax will be staffing the Herndon market on Thursdays, from May 5 thru October when the market closes

The purpose of our staffing the market will be to inform people of the composting opportunity and to give out information about what can be composted. We will be provided with a table and a canopy and information. ?

Shifts will be from 8 AM to 10:15 AM and from 10:15 AM to 12:30 PM. Please use this Sign Up Genius and let us know if we can count on you to help with this effort.
