Each Earth Day, the Sierra Club community comes together to get outdoors and raise critical funds for our planet. Getting involved is easy:
Create a fundraising pageand personalize it to reflect why protecting the planet is important for you.
Plan your Earth Day (or Earth Day weekend) adventure – a trash pickup in your local park, planting pollinators in your garden, or getting out for a hike somewhere new.
Ask friends and family to donate to Sierra Club on your behalf (think: $10 for every mile you hike or $1 for every piece of trash you pledge to pick up).
Earth Day started 52 years ago with a mission to “diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide.” We like to say that Earth Day is every day, but if there’s one time in the year to get involved, it’s now.
We have a vision of a clean energy future, 100% retired coal plants, and access to the outdoors for all. A vision where kids don’t need to worry about lead in their drinking water or asthma attacks induced by air pollution. Will you join us in protecting the future?
Thousands of people have raised money on Team Sierra, and the average person raises $250. Will you commit to raising $250 in honor of our planet?
