** Mayorkas: Equity is a ‘Core Founding Principle’ of the U.S.
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------
At a meeting hosted late last week ([link removed]) by race hustler Al Sharpton ([link removed]) ’s National Action Network ([link removed]) , open borders enthusiast and Department of Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas ([link removed]) stated falsely that the “core founding principle” of the United States is “equity.”
“It is all about achieving equity, which is really the core founding principle of our country. We, as a Department of Homeland Security, are your Department of Homeland Security as much as anyone else’s and we need to live that in the equity that we demonstrate,” he blathered.
Equality is an American principle. It means equal opportunity and equal rights before the law. It is anti-discrimination. Equity is a social justice principle which is itself discrimination. Its premise is that present discrimination is justified to balance out past discrimination. It advocates collective racial punishment and the redistribution of wealth, both of which are fundamentally un-American principles.
“We are building an immigration system that is designed to ensure due process, respect human dignity, and promote equity,” Mayorkas tweeted in August 2021 [emphasis added]. At a November, 2021 Senate hearing he declared, “Justice is our priority.”
“His is a textbook case of a government official openly and brazenly flouting his duties – and that has nothing to do with the classic Western understanding of justice,” commented Pawel Styrna from the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

** Angel Families Condemn Mayorkas As a “Criminal”
------------------------------------------------------------
In a letter responding ([link removed]) to Mayorkas’ aforementioned speech to the U.S. Conference of Mayors in January 2022, an organization composed of so-called “Angel Families” — i.e., families whose loved ones were killed by illegal aliens — condemned the border policies of Mayorkas and the Biden Administration. That organization — known as Angel Families with Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime (AVIAC) — wrote the following:
“No one is or should be above the law. When it comes to the 15-30 million individuals who entered the country illegally, refused to leave when their visa expired or were denied asylum, and disappeared into the country, they are considered by the president, every Democratic legislator (and some Republicans), most of the media, and many state and local governors and state legislators and particularly DHS Secretary Mayorkas, to be above the law. […] DHS Secretary Mayorkas made it very clear that being here illegally is not a crime. […] The truth is that this administration and Mayorkas, in particular, decided to open the borders and possibly even worse to protect those who have already committed crimes. As of this writing, DHS has refused to release the statistics on internal enforcement deportations. Spoiler Alert: They will be atrocious.”
Characterizing both Mayorkas and Biden as “criminals,” AVIAC called for Mayorkas’ “resignation, firing, and impeachment.”
