We've been alerted to a new opponent who has announced their campaign for Mayor of Chicago with the intention of pouring a staggering $5 million into their own campaign fund. This person also has a long track record of supporting far-right Republicans like Donald Trump and Bruce Rauner, who have brought serious harm to OUR communities.

If we're going to keep Chicago out of his hands, we'll need to mount an unstoppable grassroots campaign. Will you chip in $5, $25, or $50 right now to help us defend the city we love?  

Just this morning, this same person REFUSED to affirm that the 2020 election was fair. In addition to being adamantly anti-union and an ardent champion of so-called “Right to Work” policies, this candidate would rather gut the labor movement than work on solutions that put working people first. 

While Mayor Lightfoot is focused on keeping our streets and communities safe while pushing historic levels of economic investment in the South and West sides and creating jobs and opportunities for all Chicagoans, this candidate is working to undo it all. 

We still have a long road ahead, and that's why we're asking you to stand in solidarity with Mayor Lori Lightfoot by chipping in today. Because it's going to take all of us working together to keep this city in the hands of someone who will defend and invest in our communities.
