Hey John, I just got out of
back-to-back livestream conversations with our founder Shaun King and two
of our amazing candidates for DA this year.

I have to say, these conversations filled me with renewed hope for what’s
possible if all of us get involved to help them win.

Brian has experience on both sides of a courtroom – first as a federal
prosecutor and then as a public defender. He understands that true public
safety doesn’t mean solely relying on police to address community needs.
He wants to make sure those trained in mental health, addiction recovery,
and social work are a part of the public safety response in Washington
County.

is running to be the next State Attorney for Pinellas and Pasco Counties

Allison has been a public defender for years, representing people who
cannot afford the outrageous costs of high-priced legal defense. She’s
also been a tireless advocate for victims’ rights and is on the board of a
nonprofit that supports people who are facing the death penalty and cannot
afford representation.

This is the first time this election has been contested since 1964. If she
wins, she will be the first woman and the first public defender to hold
this seat, which is especially crucial in Florida right now.

John, we’re so
proud to be fighting to elect people like Brian and Allison every single
day.
