John —
Last week, Oklahoma’s legislature passed a bill banning abortions in nearly all cases — one of the harshest anti-choice bills in the country.
If signed, anyone who performs an abortion would face a punishment of up to 10 years in prison and $100,000 in fines. This dangerous bill would threaten the safety of women, doctors, and healthcare providers.
Last year, Brian Fitzpatrick voted against the Women’s Health Protection Act, legislation that would codify Roe v. Wade into federal law. With the Supreme Court expected to decide on the fate of Roe v. Wade in the upcoming months, it’s shameful that Fitzpatrick refuses to stand up for our reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy.
Reproductive rights are under attack. Add your name next to Ashley’s to fight back against the Republicans’ extreme efforts to regulate our bodies. We must protect the constitutional right to a legal, safe abortion >>
When you’re fighting just to pay the bills that have piled up, fighting for your reproductive rights against a legion of right-wing lawmakers and dark money may seem impossible. But that’s just what the Republicans want you to think. We won’t be fooled.
Ashley is committed to fighting for a woman’s right to choose, expanding reproductive care, and safeguarding our constitutional rights.
Thanks for raising your voices on this issue.
