Hi folks -- Terri Sewell here.
I’m going to talk to you about two role models who inspire me every day to fight my hardest for the people of Alabama, but first: will you chip in $10 right now to help my campaign reach its ambitious $10,000 mid-month goal? [[link removed]]

Believe it or not, folks, that Jeopardy question is about me .
I met Michelle Obama when I was a freshman at Princeton. At the time, her last name was Robinson, and I had no way of knowing that this brilliant young woman would go on to become First Lady of the United States. If anything, I expected her to take the world by storm and become the first Black President herself!
It wasn’t until I was at Harvard law school that I met the man who would become her husband. Barack Obama was a gifted law student, but I’ll admit that I was surprised to discover years later that he had married my friend from Princeton. But once I saw them together, I couldn’t deny that they were perfect for each other.
Throughout their time in the White House, I worked with the President and First Lady to fight for Alabama’s 7th District. I refused to be satisfied with anything less than the best and worked my hardest to serve America’s Civil Rights District.
I’m as determined as ever to fight for Alabama. I work hard in Congress every day to bring our hardworking folks across my district the resources they need to thrive, no matter who the president is . I’m in this fight for all of us.
Right now, my campaign is coming up on a critical mid-month fundraising deadline. I’m setting a goal of $10,000, and I know that this team won’t let me down. So will you chip in anything you can right now to help me stay in this fight for Alabama? [[link removed]]
