I had to make a very difficult decision this morning.

Just before our budget meeting earlier today, we found out that our opponents are going up on the air with a $90,000 TV ad buy starting tomorrow.

It was immediately clear that we needed to significantly boost our digital advertising budget if we were going to fight back.

The money wasn’t in our April budget, but I gave the green light anyway.

It was a risky call, for sure. But early voting is already underway in this primary, and we have no choice — there’s simply no time to waste.
