President Biden just announced additional steps his Administration is taking to combat gun crime in the United States. This is the lifesaving action that our country desperately needs.
Right now, anyone can get their hands on a kit to make a ghost gun at home – building a very real gun that has no regulations, serial numbers, nor background check requirements. Now, because of Biden’s action, ghost guns will finally be considered firearms under federal law.
In short, Biden’s actions will save lives. But we can’t stop there. We know there is still critical work to be done and the same villains remain: Mitch McConnell and the rest of his NRA-bought-and-paid-for colleagues are still desperate to keep the gun lobby in power and they'll stop at nothing to block more lifesaving progress.
