Last week, the House passed a bill that would cap the price of insulin at $35.

Though this proposal is incredibly important to working families and seniors, the pharmaceutical lobbyists are working overtime to make sure it doesn’t pass the Senate. The special interests are buying political influence to write laws that are good for their bottom lines – not yours.

This legislation will save money and, more importantly, save lives, so it is more important than ever for leaders to step up and put this bill on President Biden’s desk.

In Congress, I plan on fighting hard to ensure the cost of insulin and other life-saving medication is capped at an affordable cost. But until I get there, we need to make our voices heard.
