Friend — we have an exciting update about my election last Tuesday.
Thursday night, the county released additional ballot counts which showed I actually came out ahead of my opponent.
We're still headed to a run-off for my special election in June — but we'll be coming in a lot stronger.
We overcame a lot to win on Tuesday. We faced a really short timeline, low voter turnout, and hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporate interests to win.
