We’re just checking in to give you an update on our November goal. After I wrote you yesterday, DOZENS of Granite Staters (and other supporters who believe in the work we’re doing) pitched in to help us close the gap, but we’re still $2,420 short of tonight’s benchmark.

I don’t like to spend my time worrying about fundraising. In fact I’d much rather be focused on working to lower Rx drug costs and pass common sense gun safety measures, but with national Republican groups like the CLF, the NRCC, and a local GOP super PAC pouring money into the 1st District, we need to ensure our team has what it takes to defend this seat in 2020.

Trump won this seat in 2016, and he can’t win re-election without winning here again in 2020. These GOP groups know that, but I know that Granite Staters want a leader who will make their lives better -- not someone who uses hate-filled rhetoric and undermines our constitution.

Here’s the thing: my seat in Congress isn’t safe. It flipped four times in the last five elections.

You can always trust in me to fight for our shared values, but I can’t win this seat again without YOU. That’s why I’m asking you personally: will you step up now to support our efforts on the ground?
