“Going from rust to revitalization in Baltimore County community”
WMAR-TV, March 22, 2022

From pandemic relief to the bipartisan infrastructure bill, I’ve focused on ways we can strengthen our economy and create jobs for Marylanders. Now, I’m proud to share a new bill I’m working on that would revitalize Sparrows Point in Baltimore and create tens of thousands of new jobs for our state.

With this bill, we can work with Tradepoint Atlantic to revitalize the old Bethlehem Steel mill location. Previously, these types of industrial sites were left out of economic investment programs because they didn’t meet population requirements even though they’re prime for revitalization because they don’t run the risk of displacing residents, and they offer huge potential to create good jobs for workers in low-income neighborhoods right next door.

I worked with leaders at every level of government in Maryland and across the aisle to get this done for Marylanders, and I’m hoping I can count on your support.

Will you sign on your support for revitalizing our economy and creating thousands of jobs for Marylanders? [[link removed]]
