Comment Subject/Title: “Remove offensive website from proposed Virginia School Health Guidelines”
Comments: “I urge you to remove the Advocates for Youth website from the proposed Virginia Department of Health Virginia School Health Guidelines for public schools. This offensive website – listed in the document’s “Sexual Health” resources section – promotes abortion, a “Free the Pill” campaign, and numerous other items that so many parents, including me, recognize as extremely harmful to children’s health and well-being. This site is listed as a “resource” in the proposed guidelines, when in reality it promotes the exact opposite of what our youth should be taught. Please remove this highly objectionable, completely unacceptable site from the proposed school health guidelines document.”
