An update on Ukraine for you.
UNICEF remains committed to scaling up response efforts as over 2 million children have been forced to flee Ukraine, 2.5 million more are estimated to be internally displaced, and needs for essential supplies increase. Thus far, UNICEF has sent more than 1,000 tons of emergency supplies — including medicine and medical equipment, winter clothes, hygiene kits and educational resources — to support children and families inside Ukraine and across refugee-hosting countries. Teams have also set up Blue Dot hubs, one-stop safe spaces that offer vital protection and care for refugees fleeing the crisis. |
We want to keep you informed on how UNICEF is making an impact. That’s why we’ve brought in Andres Kragelund, Assistant Director of UNICEF USA’s Emergency Coordination Team
so you can ask an expert about the situation and learn about UNICEF’s work for children.
Using the form below, ask Andres anything about UNICEF’s response: |
UNICEF will continue to extend support and protection to the millions of children affected by the war in Ukraine thanks to the generosity of supporters like you. Take a moment to ask anything — from questions like, “What happens at a Blue Dot?” and “How is UNICEF helping displaced people?” to “What supplies are needed?” and “How can I help sustain relief efforts?”
We'll be in touch with a follow-up with answers and more updates on the situation in Ukraine.
Thank you for supporting children,
