The Supreme Court could overturn Roe v. Wade this year, so I'm using my authority as governor to go directly to Michigan's Supreme Court and urge them to stop our nearly century-old abortion ban from going back into effect and enshrine reproductive rights in our state’s constitution.

That’s why I filed a lawsuit using my executive authority to urge the Michigan Supreme Court to immediately act to strike down one of the country’s most restrictive abortion laws.
