This is going to be a longer email, but I’m hoping you’ll take the time to read it.

I’m running for Governor of Arkansas against Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and right now, she’s raised over $13 million to spend against us. To put it plainly, Sarah Huckabee Sanders has made it clear she won’t be a governor for every Arkansan — and the stakes are too high for us to elect someone who isn’t invested in helping all of our families.

Growing up in Pine Bluff as a kid of two ordained ministers, I was raised to believe that with hard work, determination, and compassion — there’s nothing we couldn’t accomplish.

The values they instilled in me allowed me to pursue my interest in science, which set me on my way toward working for NASA and MIT.

Later in life, as I traveled across the state for my work at the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, I saw firsthand disparities in both rural and urban communities that prevented kids just like me from pursuing their dreams.

And lately, I’ve seen those disparities getting worse, not better.

Now, I’m running for Governor of Arkansas so that all Arkansans can thrive. I have faith in Arkansas’s potential and I know that with strong leadership, we can bring opportunity to every corner of the state from Pine Bluff to Paragould.

We can win this thing by organizing across the state and connecting with people on a sincere level. I’m ready to put in the work, but I need your help to make sure my team and I have the resources we need to make it to the finish line.
