John, the right to keep and bear firearms is an inalienable human right. Our right to bear arms is the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights. The Founding Fathers made this right the Second Amendment because they believed it was the next most important inalienable right behind freedom of speech.

This is why I will always stand up to protect the Second Amendment. It is unconstitutional for the government to restrict your rights.

The purpose of government is to protect rights, not restrict them.
