New York Times: Oklahoma Lawmakers Approve Near-Total Ban on Abortion

Listen, we’re seeing a wave of far-right, anti-abortion laws.

Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak has always fought to protect the right to choose. And that’s why it’s important we all do our part to help re-elect him this fall.

First, Texas enacted a near-total ban on abortions. Now, Oklahoma is following suit.

States with Republican Governors have launched attack after attack on a woman’s right to choose.

Patients are traveling all the way to Nevada for treatment because they can no longer access safe abortions and treatment in their state.

But the truth is, Republicans in Nevada will do everything in their power to follow in the footsteps of Texas and Oklahoma and take away our right to choose.

Governor Sisolak has been steadfast in protecting reproductive rights. He’s fought to remove penalties against women and doctors, expanded access to birth control, and defended abortion rights. We can count on him.

Abortion is on the line in this election. Re-electing Steve is the best chance we have to make sure we can continue to defend the right to choose in Nevada. Can you chip in right now to make sure we re-elect Governor Sisolak?
