The amazing impact of our work with families in rural Africa is not changing. But the way we talk about ourselves is.
We are proud of our heritage and our 34 years as Send a Cow, but comprehensive research has shown that the name is holding us back. It no longer accurately reflects our organization today or expresses the incredible way farmers share what they have and what they know with their communities.
You've helped us to achieve so much already! Over the past three decades - together - we have supported 2.5 million people to transform their lives through farming their land, empowering the most vulnerable, and improving their business skills.
Now we need to do more. To reach our goal of working with 5 million more people by 2030, we need to build awareness about our expert development work and in particular, the way our impact spreads – from community to community and generation to generation.
That's why from May 31, 2022 we are changing the way we look and talk about our work, and with that, our name.

Our [new name]([link removed]) emphasizes that the impact of our work is always felt far beyond where it starts and that for every farmer we reach, many more benefit. That's something we are incredibly proud of.
