John xxxxxx,
The revelations from the public impeachment hearings have only elicited more appalling behavior from Trump (and that’s saying something coming from this president!), going so far as to attack a witness on Twitter as they were testifying.
Trump’s defenders in Congress can shout, distract, and point fingers all they like. But here’s the thing about facts: refusing to believe them doesn’t mean they go away. The bottom line is that Trump decided to withhold critical aid to further his own political gain, putting his own interests above the national security of the American people.
Keep reading to catch up on the latest events, and sign your name to tell Trump we deserve the truth.
Thank you,
Team Jeffries

Subject: A big week

Friend,
This week, the American people heard from a group of patriots who came forward at great risk to expose actions that endanger our national security.
These hearings are part of a solemn constitutional process to bring all of the facts to light so the American people can begin to draw our own conclusions.
But at the end of the day, the facts remain unchanged: Trump pressured a foreign government into digging up dirt on his political opponent while withholding critical security aid.
Hakeem and House Democrats have already made tremendous progress, despite Trump’s desperate attempts to lie about his wrongdoing, cover it up, and withhold evidence. But behind Trump’s lawlessness, abuses of power, and disregard for our Constitution stands Mitch McConnell and his Republican enablers ready to do his bidding.
Watch Hakeem give his take on this week’s hearings, then join him in taking a stand against Trump’s disrespect toward the rule of law.
Thank you,
Chairman Jeffries HQ
