Amazon Workers Speak Out Event Graphic

TONIGHT at 8 PM! Join Amazon Labor Union organizers Angelika Maldonado, Michelle Valentin Nieves, and Chris Smalls as they discuss how they and their coworkers achieved the most important union victory in decades — and what workers across the country can learn on how to organize their workplaces today! Moderated by organizer and author Eric Blanc.

🍻 Eat, Drink, and Be Marxist 🍻

Join us Saturday, April 16th for our monthly in-person socialist social at Georgia Beer Garden (420 Edgewood Ave NE) at 8:00 PM.

Come for dinner, drinks, and conversation. Enjoy comradeship and a brew with DSA and friends!

Since COVID is still a risk, we ask that you only attend if you're fully vaccinated. We'll be meeting up in the back garden area!

☕ Support Starbucks Workers United ☕

Starbucks is unionizing in Atlanta! Support Atlanta Starbucks Workers United by placing an order with the name "UNION YES!" TWO Atlanta-area Starbucks stores have officially filed for unions!

Stop by either the Starbucks in The District at Howell Mill (1801 Howell Mill Rd) OR the Starbucks at Peachtree Dunwoody and Hammond (6001 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd) to let them know the community backs the union!

☕ Starbucks Solidarity Flyering ☕

Help us show solidarity with the brave workers filing for a union at the Howell Mill Starbucks Sunday April 17th at 10:00 AM. We will meet outside the Howell Mill Starbucks and flyer surrounding neighborhoods to raise awareness and support for their union! No experience necessary. Snacks and water will be provided.

🌹 April General Meeting 🌹

Join us Saturday, April 23rd 4:00 - 6:00 PM for Atlanta DSA's April General Meeting at Park Avenue Baptist Church (486 Park Ave SE)! We'll hear the latest from our Chapter's campaigns and committees, discuss current events in the Chapter, and debate and vote on resolutions. All members are encouraged to attend!

✊ Help Us Fight for $15 in Georgia ✊

Millions of workers put their lives on the line daily for unlivable wages and unfair treatment in the workplace. And while the pandemic surges on, the 1% continues to exploit working people for profits. Enough is enough: working Georgians deserve a living wage of at least $15/hour!

Atlanta DSA has been busy over the last couple months with Fight for $15 talking to working Georgians about the cost of living and why we need to fight for a living wage!

👕 Donate to Organize the South! 👕

Did you know that DSA is entirely member-funded?

This means we're free from the influence of corporate donors and wealthy "philanthropists" whose interests run opposite to our own.

It also means we need the help from YOU everyday working people  to keep the momentum going for socialist organizing in the South!

If you want to support our organizing work, you can make a monthly contribution at atldsa.org/monthly. PLUS give $10 or more monthly and get a free t-shirt! Email [email protected] to claim your shirt!

Why donate monthly? We have a world to win! That's not just a slogan; it's a game plan. When you donate monthly, you're contributing directly to community organizing efforts in and around metro Atlanta. Your donation helps us pay for critical administrative costs such as storage and meeting space, digital organizing tools, and educational materials.

Thanks for all your support let's get organizing!
