A few weeks ago, I made a tough call to help us flip this Senate seat from red to blue.
Already, Ron Johnson has gone up on TV with two new ads, and Republican groups are expected to go “all-in” to help him — and they’re doing it knowing that our campaign is in the strongest position to defeat him.
So, I gave my campaign manager the green light to authorize a large investment in paid media so we can compete with the GOP and get our message out to as many Wisconsin voters as possible. To be frank with you, this investment was approved even though it made our budget much tighter than we would have wanted.
I felt comfortable making this difficult decision because I was willing to bet that this grassroots team would get us back on track and ensure we had the financial resources to take such a calculated risk. You came through. Big time.
With your help, we were able to keep our TV ads running through March. Now, we’re trying to stay up in April. I’m told we need to raise about $10,000 online per day to compete with Ron Johnson on the airwaves, and we’re about 22% short of where we need to be for today.
Can you help us fill that 22% gap with a donation to our campaign? If 79 people contribute to this message today, we can get back on track in no time. Every dollar matters as we gear up to fight back against Republican attacks and flip this Senate seat blue:

Look, I’m not taking a dime from corporate PACs. In fact, I never have. You should know that the vast majority of our donations come from messages like this one. This grassroots team has always risen to the occasion, and that’s how I know we have what it takes to win this seat.
Republicans might outspend us, but they sure as heck won’t outwork us — which is why I’m counting on folks like you to help us build a campaign strong enough to combat their attacks in the weeks ahead.
Thank you,
Sarah Godlewski
