FIRST: A poll showed that only 27% of Iowa voters want to reelect Republican Chuck Grassley in this year’s midterm elections.

THEN: Admiral Mike Franken jumped into the race against Chuck Grassley for Iowa’s Senate seat – giving Democrats’ our best hope of defeating Grassley and turning Iowa blue.

AND NOW: The newest polling from the highly-respected Des Moines Register shows that just 45% of Iowans approve of the job Chuck Grassley is doing. And Grassley now has his “highest disapproval rating in any Iowa poll” EVER!

We’re about to face our first big deadline of April, and we cannot afford to fall short of our fundraising goal if Mike Franken is going to defeat Chuck Grassley and protect our Democratic Senate majority.
