Dear John,
When our community joins together in shared purpose and commitment, it's so inspiring to see.
I've experienced the purpose and passion of this community once again in the last few days. Since I shared this special preview of our End Alzheimer's One-Day Match Challenge, we've received generous donations from across the country from people just like you who want to bring an end to Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
You are part of a wonderful community working together to make tomorrow healthier and more hopeful than today. Thank you.
But what we don't have is time — this one-day challenge is on April 14, in just a few days. And every day counts in this critical fight. You can take action right now to help achieve this $50,000 challenge goal. Please make your early gift today, while you can achieve 2X the impact in the fight to end Alzheimer's disease.
When you make your gift today, it can go 2X as far to help provide care and support for people living with Alzheimer's and to advance research that can lead to new diagnostic tools and more effective treatments. Please show your support today, while it can go 2X as far to help achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
I appreciate your commitment to the fight to end Alzheimer's, which is why I'm asking you to be part of our End Alzheimer's One-Day Match Challenge and make your first gift of $11 — while it can double in impact — to represent the more than 11 million caregivers in the United States. Your support will help accelerate vital research and provide care and support to those affected by Alzheimer's.
There's a good chance that you know someone living with Alzheimer's. More than half of all Americans do. Today, more and more families are experiencing the pain, the loss and the financial strain of Alzheimer's. In fact, in 2020, COVID-19 contributed to a 17% increase in Alzheimer's and dementia deaths. And by the year 2050, the number of Americans living with Alzheimer's is expected to more than double to 13 million.
But just as every one of us can be affected by Alzheimer's, every one of us can make a difference.
If everyone reading this gives what they can during this challenge and we reach our $50,000 match goal, it will do so much to propel our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by advancing global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

This challenge is made possible thanks to our friend Giovanni "Doubty" Villanueva, who has agreed to match all donations up to a total of $50,000. His donation will help advance critical Alzheimer's research in memory of Peter Hans Koelsch, the beloved grandfather of his fellow team member on their philanthropic NFT art project, EARC.
John, give your first gift to the Alzheimer's Association and make a truly powerful impact.
With you by our side, we offer help and hope for a cure. If you've been looking for a time to demonstrate your commitment in the fight to end Alzheimer's, I can't think of a better opportunity. Please show your support today; thank you.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
P.S. We don't have much time to raise the full amount that's needed to make this match challenge a success. Please do your part by giving today while you can have 2X the impact in the fight to end Alzheimer's. Thank you.
