Well... Here’s the update on it: People Magazine knew they messed up and called me. I had a conversation with a nice editor, who promised a follow-up story, talking about challenges women (and people overall) face, and why I'm running. Just found out it got spiked. Why?
Seems some “other things” took up space. That seemed to be the Slap at this year’s Oscars. So, a story brought on because of misogyny and disrespect for women seems to have been bumped for one about one man making fun of a woman’s medical condition and another man violently reacting.
... You can’t make this up!
This is what we’re up against, and why we need your help. This will never change, unless we join together to change it.
So, please join our campaign and fight back against this political and media atmosphere that promotes men behaving badly, while sweeping real issues we all face under the rug.
