Marking 50 Years of Accomplishments and Charting the Course for the Challenges Ahead

National Press Club • Washington, D.C.
June 2, 2022

Please join us at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. as we mark our half-century of accomplishments in arms control and chart our course of action in the years ahead.

Keynote speakers and expert panels will address the arms control challenges of today and tomorrow including:
• The nuclear threat in the wake of Russia’s war on Ukraine
• Actions to restore nonproliferation and disarmament guardrails
• Strategies to mitigate the dangers of new weapons technologies
• ACA's role in revitalizing the movement for the elimination of nuclear weapons.

Confirmed speakers and panelists will include, among others:

• Assistant Secretary of State for AVC Mallory Stewart
• Amb. Elayne Whyte Gomez of Costa Rica
• Oliver Meier (Deep Cuts Commission)
• Nina Tannenwald (Brown University)
• Victoria Samson (Secure World Foundation)
• Lindsay Rand (University of Maryland)
