We rely on our grassroots movement to fuel our primary victories against
the corporate-backed Democratic establishment. And we received 7,276
individual online donations last month. That’s an incredible show of
support by the folks in our movement.

But here’s the thing: last March, we received more than 10,000 individual
online donations. We also raised more money in March 2021 than we did in
March 2022.

Our fundraising cannot keep falling,
John. Because nearly 90% of
Congressional races are won by the candidate who spends the most money.
We’re up against a Democratic establishment that raises tens of millions
from Wall Street, the fossil fuel industry, Big Pharma, and anti-union
corporations. We must increase our fundraising right now, with our next
primaries approaching, in order to be in a strong position to win our
races.

we really need your help to turn this concerning trend around. Can you
chip in $3 or anything at all? Folks have been stepping up
in a big way since we first shared our fundraising slowdown with you, but
we need even more support to reverse the downturn.

While the Democratic establishment looks for candidates with extensive
wealthy fundraising networks, we recruit and support candidates fighting
for Medicare for All and a Green New Deal. When corporate PACs, fossil
fuel lobbyists, and health insurance CEOs are funding politicians —
Democrats and Republicans — laws are passed to serve corporate profits,
NOT the people.

We need more politicians who will unabashedly serve the people. That’s why
we worked so hard to help recruit and elect AOC, Cori Bush, and Jamaal
Bowman. It’s why we support the Squad every step of the way in Congress.
It’s why we’re fighting to elect a slate of working-class progressives to
join the Justice Democrats bloc on Capitol Hill.

candidates. That’s why we’re relying on you to help us raise what we need
